If you are experiencing difficulty accessing a boom/gate/door equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon using our Mobile App, then you can troubleshoot the following suggestions.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth on your device is active and switched on.
- If you have recently restarted or updated the software on your phone, then reopen the Appmit App on your phone (login if prompted). This will re-enable the Beacon Scanning in background
- Beacons are not scanned when your phone screen is switched off. Wake your phone to activate beacon scanning.
- Ensure that you have internet connectivity.
- Ensure that you have granted permission in our App to listen to Nearby Messages. You can change these permission by going into our app:
- click on settings in menu
- Then click on "App Permissions"
- Ensure that Nearby Messages is activated
